About Kate
Kate is a Co Founder at Frively, where she helps shape how small and medium-sized businesses get access to the kind of website technology that has, until now, been reserved for global brands.
She graduated with a first in maths from Queen Mary University, and has spent her career at the intersection of small business and software. Since leaving university, Kate has been involved in running and managing a SaaS business, building deep expertise in marketing industry-specific technology to small businesses, particularly in the salon environment.
That experience taught Kate something a lot of people in tech never learn: how it actually feels to run a small business. The pressure of payroll, the weight of every booking, the relief when something just works. It is the reason she is so committed to making sure the businesses Frively works with feel in control, confident, and free to focus on the work they love.
Alongside her SaaS work, Kate has been involved in enterprise-level website construction, the kind of build process used by companies with millions to spend. Bringing those two worlds together is what Frively is built on: the technology used by global businesses, made available to the salons, accountants, plumbers, electricians, dentists, and air conditioning companies that are the backbone of every local community.
The relationships built along the way are what Kate values above everything else. Long-standing partnerships with clients who know their business is genuinely understood, not just managed.
